HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT [Temporary]
Band 3 up to mid point
Required ASAP - 5 hours a week on a Wednesday, to cover a long term sickness, you may also be asked to cover other PPA requirements if needed, i.e. Teacher sickness and teacher courses.
We are looking for an HLTA with a proven track record of working with children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage One to join our dedicated team.
The successful candidate will
have experience in leading a whole class in the absence of a teacher
have Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
have an understanding of EYFS and KS1 assessment processes
have excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
have good ICT skills
be flexible in their working hours
have effective time management skills
be a good team member and be fully committed to the school
be versatile and have the ability to deliver a range of lessons
have a sense of humour
