Class Teacher
Full time class teacher (MPR/UPR) (+SEN allowance depending on experience)
Required September 2018 start

We are seeking a dynamic, flexible and enthusiastic class teacher to join our highly skilled staff team. Experience of working with SEN pupils is essential.
The role includes:
- Responsibility for a form group (KS3 initially)
- Engagement with parents and carers including Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) meetings
- Teaching across the school (KS2-4)
- Co-ordination of a curriculum area (dependent on expertise)

Information about the School
Kingswode Hoe is a special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties. We take pupils aged between 5 and 16 (Y1 - Y11) living in the Colchester area. All pupils are admitted to the school by the Statutory Assessment team of Essex Local Authority based at Essex House in Colchester. We are currently funded for 151 places.
