Chase High School is an academy that forms part of the Brentwood Academy Trust in partnership with St Martin's School, Brentwood. We are seeking to appoint a new teacher of Hair to teach in the Hairdressing Department. The courses we run are VRQ Level 2 in Ladies and Gents Hairdressing and the main requirements are excellent subject knowledge, a passion for your subject and the ability to teach a love of learning. This vacancy is part-time, 2 days a week. The successful candidate will be required for a September 2018 start.

We are looking for a teacher who is Level2 qualified with more than 5 years industry experience, holds Assessors awards, PTTLS, DTTLs (or willing to work towards) Internal verifier awards desirable but not essential.

The applicant would need to be enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills.
Be willing to be flexible with hours
Have good organisational skills to keep up to date with schemes of work, lesson planning, tracking, assessing, staff training.
Good classroom management skills
Have a good knowledge of the C&G's NVQ/VRQ curriculum

Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea
, near Southend, Essex. It educates more than 1,000 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries. Since 2011, the school has had a sixth form.
