Deputy Sports Centre Manager

37 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year

Band 3 to mid (Actual salary range £17,721-£20,138 pa plus £585 pa outer fringe)

A vacancy has arisen for a confident and self-motivated individual to assist the Sports Centre Manager in providing leadership and management of the Sports Centre and associated facilities including operations, programming, promotion, development and staffing, ensuring it provides excellent customer services whilst achieving business, income, financial and operational targets.

Experience of achieving results as well as good IT skills, are essential. The successful candidate will have previous experience in school sports centre/leisure operations, and related professional qualifications are desirable.

You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive and flexible approach to working effectively with all members of the school community. This is a customer facing role; therefore fluency in English is required.

The Sports Centres opening hours are: 4.30pm-10pm on weekdays and 8am -6pm on weekends.

Hours of work: Able to work flexible shift patterns ie mornings, evenings and weekends - Rota to be agreed according to operational requirements
