SEN Teaching Assistant
Band 2 to mid-point (£8.19- £8.70 per hour)
Start date: As soon as possible
15 hours per week, permanent contract.
A chance to join the St John's team as a Teaching Assistant has become available at the school supporting pupils with Autism and Speech and Language and other additional needs.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, flexible and caring person willing to primarily support pupils in year 3, either one to one orsmall groups. A good sense of humour is essential.
The successful candidate must:
- have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to children, parents and other adults
- have a passion for developing individual learning and encouraging pupils to achieve their best
- have some understanding of Autism or a willingness to understand Autism.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
