1:1 Learning Support Assistant SEND
Fixed Term to end of Autumn Term 2017
5 days per week - 3.25 hours per day (mornings: 8.45am-12pm) - Term Time
Start date - As soon as possible
LGS Band 2 Point 11-14
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring individual to provide Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) support for a child with social communication difficulties. Experience in this area of support is preferred.
The successful applicant will:
- work closely with the Class teacher.
- be able to work independently, use initiative to aid learning and have high consistent expectations of behaviour.
- be patient, adaptable and energetic.
- have a range of strategies for supporting the inclusion of a child with additional learning needs.
- have experience of working with children with special educational needs, in particular children with Autism.
- Minimum qualification GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
