We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person to join our lunchtime team of Midday Assistants to supervise children during the lunch breaks. Your role would involve assisting children with selecting their meals; clearing tables; maintaining good behaviour and conduct; administering basic first aid and where necessary leading games and activities with the children.
Our successful candidate will have good inter-personal skills and will enjoy working with children and as part of a team. In return we offer training; well-behaved, eager learners and a friendly and supportive team of staff.
The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any appointment is subject to satisfactory references, DBS and medical checks.
The job involves working from 12:00 to 13:00 five days a week for the 38 weeks of term time only, but we can accept applications from people interested in working fewer than five days per week. The post is paid at Band 1 point 10 (£15,613 full-time equivalent,hourly rate £8.09)
