SPORTS COACH
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational colleague to become part of our school team who is passionate not only about sport but healthy lifestyles.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, self-motivated, responsible and friendly. You will need to be a qualified sports coach and able to deliver sport and physical activities to pupils during curriculum time and at other key points during the school day.
Applications are welcome from suitably qualified practitioners who have proven experience working in a primary school.
You will need to:
• Hold a level 2 qualification in at least one sport
• Be passionate about sport for all pupils
• Skilled in all aspects of PE in the primary school curriculum
• Have proven, effective positive behaviour management skills
• Be committed to the values and principles of the school
• Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations and aspirations for the children
• Able to work as part of a team and be flexible to the needs and priorities of the school.
• Resourceful, pro-active and well-organised
• Committed to extra - curricular provision
• Commitment involvement in community development activities
• Develop excellence in sport across the school
• Demonstrate a commitment to Equal Opportunities

Information about the School
We are a popular, successful Academy School who work hard to make this a welcoming School.
Since September 2023 we have 750 children on roll including the younger children in our on-site Nursery.
We are a ‘GOOD’ school with many strengths, as our latest Ofsted Report confirms. The children in our school are happy and safe and make good progress in their learning.
