Do you want to become part of a very successful team who work in an oversubscribed Breakfast/After School and Holiday Club? If so we would love to meet you. We are currently looking for Play Assistants to work during the holidays for various sessions and occassionally cover during term time.

The club will run from 8.00am to 6.00pm during the holidays. We cater for pupils from Reception to Year 6 from Ghyllgrove Infants School during term time and other local schools during the holidays.

The successful candidate will:

Be in tune with the varied needs of the children and their families
Be able to deliver quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment
Preferably be experienced in working within a play based setting
Have flexibility whilst also maintaining a sense of humour
Be willing to undertake further training and development
Understand the needs and responsibilities of working with children

Level 2 qualifications are desirable but the right applicant would be given training. Some experience working with 4 - 11 year olds in a play environment would be beneficial. This post is suitable for students who are currently in full time education.

Information about the School

We are rated a GOOD School. We are currently full with 206 children on roll. Pupils come from a wide range of social and economic backgrounds with a number of pupils from outside the catchment area.
