An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and inspirational physical education specialist to join the school as second in department. You will need to be an exceptional classroom teacher who demonstrates high standards of delivery in a consistent manner, who is committed to improving achievement across all key stages and who understands the strategies required to accomplish this. You should be a strong leader with the ability to inspire both staff and students. You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and have an imaginative approach to leading and developing the curriculum area. Greensward Academy's sports department achieves excellent outcomes at all levels of sporting activities and has been successful at national level for both boys and girls.

Greensward Academy is an 11-19 comprehensive academy based in Hockley in Essex. It is part of the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), a multi-academy sponsor which aims to provide the opportunity for all young learners to fulfil their real potential. The academy is graded Good by Ofsted and its results are strong, particularly in the Sixth Form which is in the top 3% nationally and top in Essex according to DfE Post 16 Performance Tables.
