The Epsilon Star Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a highly skilled, enthusiastic and motivated person to the role of Finance Assistant.

Based in South Benfleet, Essex, the appointee will work under the direction of the MAT Business Manager in order to assist in the provision of a comprehensive financial support service for all academies within the trust.

The role involves;

Assisting in the organisation, management and development of Trust and Academy budgets
Ensuring the effective operation of financial control within Trust and best value on all expenditure.
Providing effective advice and support to the Trust and Academies as and when required.
Reporting to and advising Directors on strategic decisions to ensure that all pupils receive the best possible provision
Undertaking flexibly various duties to ensure the smooth operation of the Trusts core administrative team.

Previous school based experience is not essential however a good level of education and knowledge of using financial accounting systems is crucial.

Band 3 (Point 17-21) with the potential for a higher salary grade as the Trust grows. Salary £13707.00 based on 32 hours perweek, 46.5 paid weeks per year, term time plus two weeks in school holidays, Mon to Fri, hours are negotiable.
