Beauchamps High School is an 'OUTSTANDING' 11-18 school, with examination results at all levels above the National picture. In November 2014 OFSTED recognised the exceptional education we deliver and stated that "Teaching is outstanding. Teachers know their subjects extremely well and help students to gain knowledge quickly and then use it skilfully and confidently in all their work".
The school is currently looking to appoint an inspirational RE Teacher to help build and develop the RE department.
Religious Education is a compulsory subject taken in years 7-9, with all year 9 students completing a GCSE in RE by the end of Year 9.
Ideal candidates will:
- have evidence of raising attainment and developing excellence in RE across all key stages
- have the drive and ambition to deliver GCSE Religious Education
- demonstrate a commitment to raising standards
- be committed to making a significant contribution and assist with the organising of the extended extra-curricular program of the department
In this role, you will:
- help develop the RE curriculum
- be responsible for delivering the curriculum across all key stages
- help build and develop a thriving RE department
Applications are invited from teachers with QTS, who have the ability to make sure all students achieve their very best. A substantial TLR (range £2,638 - £4,397) will be available for a suitably experienced RE teacher.
