Reception Leader

We are an inclusive, nurturing school with excellent facilities for Outdoor Learning, an indoor swimming pool a Nurture Base, Autistic Unit and Language Resource Base.
We are a five form entry school, judged 'Good' in our last Ofsted. We have the opportunity to appoint a successful applicant to be responsible for the leadership, management and organisation at a strategic level. This will include the management of staff, resources and outcomes. You will have non-contact to support your team and develop outstanding Early Years practice and enable excellent progress and good outcomes for all children.
The main scope of the job:
To lead and innovate as the leader for five Reception classes.
To inspire high quality teaching and learning through the modelling of outstanding classroom practice
To contribute to the school's strategic development within the senior leadership team
To support the supervision of Year Group teaching and classroom support staff
Be proactive in 'bringing to the table' and leading school improvement strategies
Share in school self-evaluation processes
Be instrumental in contributing to school improvement planning
Plan, lead, and evaluate relevant staff development
