SAFEGUARDING OFFICER

REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

37.5 hours a week (8.00am-4.00pm)

Term Time plus Inset days (39 weeks)

Salary: EPAT Support Range 6 £21717 actual salary

We are seeking to appoint a positive, determined Safeguarding Lead. The main responsibilities of this role will include:

· to be the Designated Safeguarding Lead

· to safeguard and protect the young people and staff at Bournemouth Park Academy

· to deliver safeguarding training, update and implement policies and procedures and share learning, as appropriate, with staff, volunteers and governors

· to receive safeguarding referrals and co-ordinate a procedure which addresses and prioritises the needs of those affected by liaising with statutory agencies

This post will include supporting and advising both staff and students on matters of safeguarding as well as liaising with statutory agencies. It is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who sets high standards and values teamwork.
