ATTENDANCE OFFICER

Purfleet Primary Academy, part of REAch2 Academy Trust, is looking to appoint a highly experienced, skilled, enthusiastic and dynamic Attendance and Admissions Officer to join our Support Team at this exciting time for our school.

37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8:00am - 4:00pm.

39 weeks term time (inc. non-pupil days) plus 2 weeks in the school holidays.

Band 4, Point 12-20, (£17,304 - £21,882 pro rata)Actual 0.92FTE £15,920 - £20,130

Payscale Point dependant on experience.

The Attendance & Admissions Officer will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher and School Business Manager to provide analytical and statistical attendance data. The successful candidate will monitor attendance on a daily basis, and complete administrative tasks related to attendance, admissions and leavers. They will also work alongside key staff and external agencies to promote whole school attendance strategies and will work with students and families to improve levels of attendance and punctuality.

The successful candidate will have:

· Extensive SIMS experience, with a broad knowledge of attendance, admission and reporting data.

· Experience of a similar role within a school.

· Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
