Teacher of Geography (KS3, 4 & 5)

The King John School is a heavily oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive of 2000+ students, of which 420 are in the sixth form. In 2013 we were one of the highest performing schools in the country and achieved our highest ever average point score at 'A' level. English GCSE results reached 81% A*-C in 2015 and Mathematics 84% A*- C in 2015.
The school enjoys an excellent reputation, and has been graded at the end of September 2013 as 'Outstanding' across all key areas, based on the new Ofsted Criteria. The school enjoys good staff retention and is wholly committed to continued professional development. To this end, all children of appointed teaching staff are eligible to apply for an automatic place at King John School.
We now wish to recruit an outstanding teacher of Geography with the potential to teach across all key stages to join our supportive and highly effective Humanities faculty. If you feel you have a passion for teaching Geography and possess a creative approach to teaching, then we would love to hear from you.
