Woodcroft Nursery School is a local authority Nursery School maintained by Essex County Council and situated in Great Baddow. The Nursery was founded in 1946 and continues to provide children with the time, space and play based learning opportunities to enjoy a broad curriculum founded on their needs and appropriate to their stage of development.

The person our Governors would like to appoint will:

• preferably have previous experience of working in a local authority nursery school

• have real pleasure in the company of very small children

• have a passion for early years education

• have the vision to support our school's commitment to all children

• be able to grow and develop our existing extended school provision

• have the ability to lead and motivate our professional nursery team

• be a team player with commitment to the ethos of our school

Woodcroft Nursery School is a maintained nursery school providing funded educational services for 2-5 year olds. Our dedicated and experienced team comprises of qualified teachers, nursery nurses and nursery practitioners. We have extensive indoor and outdoor facilities including Forest School. We offer a range of extended services including breakfast and after school clubs.
