Ryedene Primary School and Nursery (Ofsted Good - November 2011) is set in a quiet, yet accessible location within the community of Vange on the outskirts of Basildon. Our well-respected headteacher is leaving us and the Governing Body would like to recruit a dynamic and inspirational leader who will work with us, our staff and the local community.

We aim to provide every child with the best possible education and a range of experiences outside the classroom. As a result our children make very good progress, and are confident learners. We know we can do more to develop and nurture their knowledge and skills and would like our new headteacher to have some innovative ideas to support the development of teaching, learning and assessment here at Ryedene so that every child can shine and achieve.
