Learning Support Assistant Required

Salary: Grade 1c pay point 9 - £16,164 (£11,826.66 approx. pro rata)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week 8.30 am to 3.30 pm (1/2 hour lunch break unpaid)Term timeonly+5 Inset days

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who has experience in Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs to join our Inclusion team. Inclusion is a key focus of the academy and this is a fundamental role in working with our pupils. Our pupils have a variety of needs and we are looking to recruit an individual who can provide an individual year 3 pupil with the appropriate support needed to help them overcome barriers to learning. You will support this individual pupil in the classroom to facilitate and support his progress in learning under the direction of the class teacher. The role will also require the successful candidate to maintain good order, keep him on task, support his needs socially to undertake set activities.
