At Helena Romana School, our culture is driven by six core values: Ambition, Kindness, Respect, Resilience, Broad-Mindedness and Independence. We believe that by creating an environment of transparent communication and mutual respect, every single student can achieve their own version of success.
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, working closely alongside our Exams Officer and the wider exams and data department. In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our student progress tracking, managing and entering key data across our core educational platforms.
About the Role
- Data & Reporting Administration: You will support the Exams Officer by inputting student assessment data across multiple platforms (Go4schools, FFT Aspire, ALPS, and Arbor) and setting up relevant courses and marksheets. You will also design, collate, and distribute school progress reports for Years 7-13, ensuring all teaching staff have up-to-date student data.
- Exam Logistics Support: You will assist with the end-to-end administration and smooth running of both mock and real examinations. This includes coordinating practical logistics such as exam rooms, student arrangements, and invigilation staffing.

- Qualifications: GCSE English and Maths (Grade 9-4 / A*-C) or equivalent.
- Experience: Candidates should have excellent numeracy, computer, and organisational skills. The role also requires the ability to handle complex or sensitive data confidentially and work collaboratively with school staff and leadership. Experience using Arbor and Go4schools is desirable but not essential.
- Character: High levels of honesty, integrity, excellent time management, and the ability to use your own initiative.
- Communication: The ability to communicate with both adults and children, verbally and in writing.
- Safeguarding: A strong understanding of child protection policies and safeguarding procedures.
Whether you are a graduate looking to launch a career in education data, an experienced administrator looking for a meaningful career change, or a data-savvy professional seeking a supportive school community. If you have excellent computer literacy, a sharp eye for detail, and the right attitude, we will train you on the rest.
This role may also suit a former teacher or higher-level teaching assistant wishing to transition out of the classroom and reduce delivery responsibilities, while still playing a vital, behind-the-scenes role in driving student progress and supporting school operations.
