We are looking for a new After School Club Supervisor. The role will involve organising play activities and providing high quality care to children attending the After School club (ages 4 - 11). This will include setting up activities, supporting children in their play, serving and clearing away snack, and maintaining good standards of behaviour. You will also be expected to plan out snacks (including ordering), activities and manage the After School Club Assistant. You will be trained to Level 3 in Safeguarding.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience of working with children;
Good literacy and numeracy skills;
Good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships;
A kind, caring nature.
We have wonderful children at Alresford, and a strong supportive team of colleagues.
The position is for 6 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only), working hours will be 3:15pm to 5:15pm Monday to Friday. If demand picks up we will be looking to extend the offer by either opening until 6:00pm or opening on additional days, so extra hours may be available in the future.
