SECAT are seeking to appoint Academy Committees Representatives and Trustees who can make a real difference to the future life chances of young people in our Trust by supporting our schools based in Southend.
If you have a few hours every term that you can commit to help SECAT achieve our mission to ensure outstanding outcomes for the young people in our community, one of these roles may be perfect for you.

Academy Committee Representatives meet four times per academic year and visit the school once per term to support Headteachers and staff in continuing to achieve outstanding outcomes. Academy Committees link into the Trust Board. Trustees meet six times per academic year, with additional visits to the schools. Trustees are responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Trust, holding senior school leadership to account, and overseeing the Trust's financial performance.
We are looking for people willing to bring energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the roles, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on the Academy Committees and Trust Board.

We welcome applications from anyone regardless of their age, experience, disability, ethnicity, heritage, sexuality, gender and socio-economic background.
