Just Imagine Colchester Day Nursery are looking for an inspirational Toddler Room Leader to put a stamp on our newly developed room and drive it forwards to make a difference for the little people in our care.

For this role you will need to have a full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification, be fluent in written and spoken English, have experience of working within Early Years and have knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, all year round.
As a Room Leader, you will:
Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
Ensure children are supervised and attended to at all times, maintaining appropriate staff:child ratios.
Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff.
Promote respect and credibility for this position by leading as a role model with impartiality and consistency.
Ensure positive partnerships with parents/carers with thorough handover on daily collection and encourage their involvement in the nursery.
Observe, assess and plan an interesting, stimulating and challenging range of early years activities which supports each child's individual learning and development needs and abilities.
