Great Waltham C of E Primary school require a catering assistant to join our catering team.
We are a small village school with 164 pupils on role. we have wonderful ASPIRE values and our vision is 'Let all that you do be done in love'.
Salary: Point 2 or 3 depending on experience. Actual salary £6467-£6585
Hours:14hours as follows:Monday to Thursday 10:30-13:30, Friday 11:30 to 13:30.
Term time only: 38 weeks
Contract type: Part time, permanent
Reporting to: The catering manager
Start date: 30/10/2023
The role requires a hardworking and proactive person with a passion for food, to work within our busy kitchen. The role will include some food preparation, cleaning, and using equipment such as the dishwasher. There will also be an opportunity to serve meals front of house. We serve approx. 170 hot meals per day which includes providing meals to another local school.
Training will be provided to include Level 2 food hygiene and as part of our commitment to staff training you will be able to access the national college website to further enhance your development within the role and other educational roles.

Great Waltham Church of England VC Primary School is situated in the pretty village of Great Waltham catering for pupils from 4 - 11. The school was built in 1865 and has wonderful character and beautiful grounds.
