Midday Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person to join our team supervising children during the lunch break.

You will assist children in the lunch hall, help maintain good behaviour with a friendly and fun approach, administer basic first aid, clear tables, and lead games and activities, with the children, once at play.

The successful candidate will have good inter-personal skills, have a nurturing approach, enjoy working with children and as part of a team.

You will be joining our Midday team at a very exciting time, after recently beginning our introduction of 'OPAL' (Outdoor Play and Learning). Please see the link below for more information on this:

Pay scale 2, spine point 4-5 (actual salary £1703.65 with April 2026 inflationary pay award still pending)

Working days: Monday and Tuesday (Term-time only)

Working hours: 11.45 - 1.15 pm (approx)
