This role will be offered on a permanent basis subject to successfully passing a period of probation.
38 weeks term time (43.5 paid weeks including 5.5 weeks holiday pay)
33 hours 45 minutes per week
Monday- Friday 8:15am-3:30pm (½ hour lunch included per day)
We are looking for a warm, caring, and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our busy and nurturing setting for children aged 2-4 years.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and committed to maintaining high standards of care, learning, and development and who holds a high-level qualification in Nursery Nursing. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, and able to create a calm, engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Key responsibilities:
· Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children can thrive;
· Create and maintain an inviting, well-organised environment that sparks curiosity and supports independent exploration;
· Build strong, positive relationships with children, supporting their individual needs;
· Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that inspire curiosity and learning;
· Observe, assess, and record children's progress accurately
· Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation within the setting;
· Work collaboratively with colleagues, showing a team work ethos and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
Essential requirements:
· Early Years qualification level 3 or above;
· Experience working with children aged 2-4 years;
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
· Good ICT skills to support observations and planning;
· Ability to write clear, meaningful observations;
· Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children;
· Good understanding of child development and early years education;
· Genuine passion for working with young children.
Desirable skills:
· Creative and artistic abilities;
· Experience working with children with SEND needs;
· Musical skills or confidence leading songs and group activities;
· Lead on outdoor activities / forest / garden area.

· Proactive and reliable;
· Committed to high standards and continuous improvement.
