Salary: £24,520 FTE + Outer Fringe £729
Actual Salary: £6,824.05 per annum
Hours: 10 hours per week (2 hours per day)
Contract: Permanent, 52.14 weeks per year
Start Date: 1st June 2026

St Teresa's Catholic Primary School is seeking a reliable, hardworking and conscientious cleaner to join our dedicated site team.

This is an important role in ensuring that our school environment remains clean, safe and welcoming for our pupils, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be line managed by the Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors and shared areas
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the school
Supporting periodic deep cleaning tasks during school holidays
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Working Pattern
2 hours per day (typically after school hours)
During school holidays, hours are accumulated and worked as agreed full days with the Site Manager to support deep cleaning

Annual Leave
24 days annual leave (under 5 years' service) plus bank holidays
Approximately 50% of annual leave to be taken during school holiday periods
