Due to the forthcoming retirement of our longstanding and highly respected Headteacher, who has led the school with care, nurture, and steadfast commitment, we are seeking an exceptional primary leader to guide Eastwood Primary School & Nursery into its next chapter.

About the Role
This headship is ideal for a primary leader who wants to blend care, community, and nurture with professional ambition, consistency, and high expectations.
The successful candidate will:
Bring visibility, stability, and strong leadership
Strengthen inclusion, SEND, and early identification
Build staff culture rooted in fairness, unity, and high expectations
Develop consistent approaches to behaviour and routines
Build excellent relationships with families and the wider community
Oversee teaching, learning, and curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Lead with clarity, compassion, and tenacity
There will also be opportunities for a trust-wide role matched to the strengths and interests of the successful candidate, and this contribution may grow as the Trust continues to develop.

Person Specification Summary
We are seeking a warm, visible, and values-led primary leader with proven senior leadership experience and a strong record of improving outcomes. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of primary pedagogy, Early Years, inclusion, and SEND, alongside the ability to build strong relationships, strengthen staff culture, and lead with clarity, compassion, and ambition.
They will communicate well, manage change sensitively, model high expectations delivered with kindness, and demonstrate tenacity, integrity, and moral purpose. Above all, they will embody the values of Tenacitas Trust and bring the calm, confident leadership needed to unite the school community and ensure every child thrives.
