This position is for 27hrs 55mins per week, plus 3hrs 20mins MDA duty. This is term time only (38 weeks).

Tendring Primary School is a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking school committed to ensuring every child thrives. We are looking to appoint a dedicated, nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Learning Support Assistant (EYFS LSA) to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development to support the learning, play, and care of children in our Early Years Foundation Stage setting.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working with young children, ideally within an EYFS setting
- Be patient, caring and committed to supporting children's emotional, social and academic development
- Work effectively with the class teacher to deliver a play-based, child-centred curriculum
- Be able to provide personal care
- Provide 1:1 or small group support where needed, including for children with SEND
- Be flexible, proactive and able to use their initiative
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be willing to support all aspects of school life and uphold our school values
- Have a good level of English and Maths, both written and spoken
- Be a good team player and have a good sense of humour

As part of the lunchtime team, you will:
- Actively engage the children in play and social activities
- Secure the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils during the lunchtime break
- Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises

Information about the School
Tendring Primary is small, popular school located close to the Suffolk/Essex Border, attracting children from a wide area across the Tendring Peninsular. We currently have 190 children on roll. The School is set in approximately a three acre site with original buildings dating back to 1896. The school has extended over the years to include new buildings and extensive outdoor learning facilities.
