We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role is primarily focused on providing one-to-one support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), ensuring their individual needs are met both in the classroom and during unstructured times.

This is a part-time position for 11 hours per week, and the successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver planned interventions and provide consistent support throughout the school day, including during lunchtime and on the playground.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil with an EHCP, tailored to their specific learning and social communication needs.
  • Support the delivery of planned interventions across the school under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
  • Assist the pupil during lunchtime and on the playground, promoting positive social interactions and ensuring their wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to implement strategies outlined in the EHCP and contribute to progress reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records of support provided and pupil development.
