Extended Services Playworker - Tea Time Club

Contract type: Permanent
Grade/pay range: Scale 1 - Point 2-3
Salary details (annual): £24,413 - £24,796
Actual pro rata salary if part-time: £6,413 to £6,514 per annum (Actual Salary)
Working hours: 11.25 hours per week (15:00 - 17:15)
Working pattern: Part Time - term time plus 5 inset days
Start Date: As soon as possible

Leigh Beck Junior School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Playworker to join our extended services team and maintain the safety and wellbeing of the pupils during the teatime club.


The ideal candidate will be:

  • Friendly, calm and caring, able to work as part of the whole school team

  • Have excellent communication skills, use discretion and confidentiality
  • Promote the school in a positive manner at all times and share in the corporate responsibility for the well- being and safeguarding of all pupils.
