Interesting in becoming a school governor?

Bocking Primary School currently have vacancies on the Local Governing Body.

The school is part of the Attain Academy Partnership and the LGBs are an important part of the Trust governance structure.

School governors play a hugely important role in making sure that every young person is given the best education, opportunities and experiences possible. We particularly welcome applications from individuals with skills or experience in education. If you are passionate about education and about helping young people achieve their potential then we would love to hear from you.

The governing body meetings take place four times a year, approximately two hours each starting at 5pm. We ask governors to conduct visits to school on a termly basis to monitor progress of the pupils and the school. We offer training and support to help Governors fulfil their roles successfully.

If you are interested in this rewarding and responsible position, or would like to know more about what the role entails, then please contact the school office to speak with our Head of School or Governance Professional.
