Thorpe Hall School is seeking to appoint an experienced enthusiastic and reliable Estates Manager to lead our estates team. We are looking for someone with a flexible approach who takes pride in their work and will demonstrate a passionate drive to maintain and develop our site as well as a desire to contribute positively to the whole school.
The successful candidate will:
- Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Be proactive, self-motivated and able to respond to deadlines
- Have a good understanding of the Health and Safety procedures
- Have proven maintenance skills and takes pride in their work
- Have proven management experience
- Have the ability to work effectively as a team player
- Experience in creating legally compliant Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Good IT skills
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualification (or a willingness to undertake these)
- Liaise and communicate with external contractors in a professional manner
- Be able to communicate well with adults and children
