Salary - Scale 6 Point 12 (£27,711) to Point 17 (£30,060) dependent upon calibre of individual.
Hours - 37 Hours per week - working pattern to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
Holiday - From 25 days per year with 1 week taken during term-time.
To start asap after interview date.
We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable, multi-skilled and organised Site Manager to join our team at Rodings Primary School.

The fundamental part of this job will be premises management. This entails the maintenance and security of the building and grounds, ensuring the cleanliness of the site through the line management of a cleaning company.
Other duties and skills required will include:
- Being the primary key holder, locking and unlocking of the premises.
- Project Management - Ability to manage and consult with contractors to organise unplanned and scheduled works and to check that works have been completed to the standard required.
- Assist with the preparation of plans for long-term projects to develop and improve the premises.
- The management/ordering and safe storage of cleaning materials (COSHH).
- Responsibility for health and safety - ensuring the inside and outside environment are well maintained and meet Health and Safety requirements .
- Responsible for the regular checking and operation of systems such as heating, cooling, lighting, swimming pool and security systems
A comprehensive range of DIY skills such as routine painting and decorating, gardening, general maintenance, minor plumbing works and general repairs.
Undertake ad-hoc cleaning duties as required.
Good literacy and numeracy, organised with excellent record keeping skills, with basic experience of using Google and Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word to ensure the efficient management of health and safety processes and related documentation.
Able to relate well to children and interact with them in a friendly and positive manner.
There will be occasional later working for Governors' meetings, weekly lettings, special events and parent's evenings for which flexibility is essential. The Site Manager is expected to deal with emergencies outside of school hours and overtime would be paid as accordingly.
Staff wellbeing is a priority at our school, this includes a dedicated member of staff for well being, staff socials and cakes and chocolate on a regular basis.
