HR Administrator - Discovery Educational Trust Central HR Team. Scale 4 (pts 7-8). Pay award pending.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is willing to support wherever needed. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, collaborative and ready to get involved across a broad range of tasks, as we move to centralise and streamline elements of the HR services we deliver to our five schools. You will need to be curious about using technology and systems to help us work more efficiently and enjoy managing processes, as well as a focus on providing excellent internal client care.
You will be part of a friendly and supportive team, based on site at one of our secondary schools in Brentwood.
There is the opportunity for ongoing development following a successful probation if you are looking to develop a career in HR, including access to work towards HR qualifications via the apprenticeship route (which is accessible to those further along in their career journey, as well as those at the start).
The Central HR Team works year round, so this is not a term time post. We are, however, open to a degree of flexibility in school closure periods provided you can be flexible and support our peak busy periods, such as recruitment and induction, pay reviews etc. during term time.
Our schools need us to start early to ensure they are properly supported, so 8.00am is the norm, however, we can offer some flexibility with respect to a shorter working day, earlier finish time or flexibility on days worked. Please indicate your preferred work pattern when you apply.
We will aim to hold interviews week commencing 25 August (after the bank holiday) but reserve the right to close the advert early if appropriate.
