SEND Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Chase Lane Primary School is seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities Teaching Assistant with experience of supporting children with ASD. We welcome applicants who are able to work one to one with children who have complex special educational needs.

We would like to invite candidates who can demonstrate:

knowledge and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
understanding of children's personal needs, including social, health and hygiene
prior experience of working with children with SEND
a positive, nurturing manner and approach

The start date can be earlier, following satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks.
