Salary - Thurrock Band A, Point 1 to Point 6
£16,627.23 - £17,796.65 actual salary per annum


30 hours per week ,Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 2:30pm
37 weeks per year - term time only

Horndon-on-the-Hill Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, caring and committed Learning SupportAssistant to facilitate student learning in the classroom.


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:


• The ability to communicate effectively while maintaining a calm and professional manner
• The ability to build strong professional relationships with the children and their families 
• A willingness to take part in class planning and adapt it to the needs of the child where applicable 
• Good organisational skills 
• Good behaviour management skills 
• Good basic English and Mathematics (GCSE 4-9 or equivalent preferable)
• The ability to communicate with parents and to attend professional meetings where required 
• Good record keeping skills (Progress and medical where required) 
• A passion for the impact teaching and learning can have on improving life
• A commitment to supporting the delivery of education to the highest standard
