Working Weeks: 40 (Term time plus 2 weeks)
Scale: 4 Point 7-8 (Depending on experience)
Salary: £24294 - £24702 FTE
Actual salary £13265- £13488 (Depending on experience)

We are seeking a kind, compassionate and organised person who is good with numbers. Working in the main office you will be front of house dealing with all stakeholders. You must be able to multi task and cope with constant interruptions. No two days are the same and flexibility to step in and help in other areas is a must.
As the Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of our account payables and account receivables, including providing clerical and welfare support within the school office. Your responsibilities will encompass various financial tasks such as raising purchase orders and preparing BAC's runs, along with office administrative tasks involving communication with staff, parents and external organisations whilst maintaining a safe environment for all.
You will be required to work 23 hours per week; Tuesday 8:15am-16:30pm Wednesday 8:15am - 16:15pm, Friday 8:15am - 16:30pm. Term time plus 2 weeks.
We would be delighted to hear from you if you have:
· Proven experience in office administration, preferably in an educational setting.
· Experience of accounts payables and accounts receivables.
· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Knowledge of first aid procedures and willingness to maintain or gain certifications.
· Proficiency in relevant software applications for finance and office management systems (E.g. Bromcom, Excel, CPOMS).
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and engage positively with families.
· Strong attention to detail.
· An understanding of the importance of social and emotional well-being and a commitment to nurturing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
· Effective organisational and interpersonal skills, enabling you to manage tasks efficiently and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
· The ability to work independently and take initiative, taking pride in your work and consistently seeking opportunities to contribute to the team's success.
· The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations.

Great Waltham Church of England VC Primary School is situated in the pretty village of Great Waltham catering for pupils from 4 - 11. The school was built in 1865 and has wonderful character and beautiful grounds.
