The Governors of St. Francis Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a SEND classroom assistant to work as part of the EYFS team to support the pupil progress of the children in our school. The role involves working with a specific pupil with SEND, supporting them throughout the school day under the direction of the class teacher.
This is an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to St Francis. The successful candidate will:
be an experienced LSA or classroom assistant or have relevant experience working with children
have a good level of Numeracy and Literacy
be committed to making an impact on our children's education
have an understanding or awareness of SEND needs
have the ability to liaise closely with class teachers to deliver specific intervention programmes
be kind, patient and understanding
be able to support the strong Catholic ethos which is embedded across the school
show a commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare

This is a public facing role and the successful candidate must speak fluent English
