Deputy Headteacher

The Governing Body wishes to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Deputy Headteacher who will play a significant role in the leadership of the school. Our new Deputy Headteacher will have excellent leadership, management and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will also be enthusiastic, be committed to achieving high standards and be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice. They will have a secure understanding and commitment to attachment awareness, TPP, a creative curriculum and pupil progress.

The position will involve 3 days teaching commitment and 2 days deputy release time.

The ideal candidate will also:

· Be responsible for embedding a culture that is both nurturing and rigorous.

· Be an outstanding teacher with a resilient character and a strong personal drive.

· Be a dedicated, enthusiastic and trustworthy team member who makes a difference.

· Have proven experience of positively impacting on pupil progress and raising attainment and developing excellence.

· Have the drive to make a real difference to the lives of pupils.
