About the role:
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This role is fixed term from 1st September 2024 to 31st August 2025 as a Maternity Cover. The role is term time, and whilst the current working pattern is for 3 days a week the exact working days/hours can be flexible depending on your circumstances. It would be helpful to please state on your application whether you have a preference on working days/hours for our consideration.

Location: The post is based in the school
Working pattern: The current postholder works 18.25 hours per week. Monday, Thursday and Friday: 08.15 - 15.30 (with one hours unpaid lunch break). We can offer flexibility with working hours so please state your reference on your application form.
Pay: The post is paid on Essex Schools' Local Government Pay Scale 4, point 7 (within range 7-8). The full time equivalent pay for this Scale is £24,294 per year. For 18.25 hours per week the pay would be £10,273. The actual salary for this post will be calculated prorate based on the hours agreed. These figures include the holiday pay entitlement for someone with less than 5 years' service. Employees are paid monthly in twelve equal months per year
