Learning Support Assistant (Fixed Term until 31/08/2027)
27.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday 08:45am - 11:45am and 12:45pm - 15.15pm)
Local Government Scale 3, Point 6 FTE £25989.00 2026 pay award pending.

We are looking for an empathetic, confident practitioner who can:
· Supervise play/learning and check understanding of activities
· Create a careful balance of providing support and providing opportunities to work/play independently
· Provide access to visual aids and concrete learning resources to support learning
· Help express needs and wishes
· Use strategies such as Now/Next visual schedules
· Facilitate involvement and participation in cooperative play
· Work closely with the class teacher
· Deliver specified programmes of intervention
· Support physical transitions
