This is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably skilled and knowledgeable Science Technician to join a well-motivated and successful team within our highly successful Science Department. Applicants should have a minimum qualification of a Science Degree or relevant experience. We would prefer candidates to have excellent Science GCSEs and A-Levels and show aptitude across all three science disciplines.

This role is ideal for those seeking to join a highly successful school and work closely with our superb and highly experienced Lead Science Technician who will line manage you in this role.

The basic working format of this role is full-time, Monday to Friday starting at 8am. It is a term-time position; however, we will discuss some holiday working with the successful candidate. We would also consider a job-share or a part time role for the right colleague. Please contact us to discuss these options further.

Candidates will need to be good at getting along with other people, proactive, organised, tidy and good communicators. The ideal applicants will have a strong track record of being responsible and diligent with an eye for detail.

We have a lot of information about the school on the website, but we are also keen to welcome applicants to come for a tour and a face-to-face meeting with the head of department.

Staff of the school benefit from priority admission for their children. Our admissions policy effectively guarantees staff a place in the school for their children. With over 800 applications for our 150 places each year, this is a significant perk! In addition, staff will be provided with a comprehensive induction programme, free daily lunch and a car parking space. Childcare vouchers are available, and an excellent neighbouring provision offers discounted rates for staff members.
