We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated, and enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher to join our strong, professional, and friendly team in September 2024.
You will have a prominent role in the school as Assistant Headteacher and you will work closely with the wider senior leadership team to support colleagues across the school
You will have a two-day per week classroom responsibility, teaching our lovely pupils as well as demonstrating outstanding teaching practice, harnessing the skills and enthusiasm of all staff and pupils and working in partnership with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to drive the school forwards on its journey. As part of the SLT you may also be expected to deliver model lessons or support staff through the provision of joint teaching opportunities.
You will be skillful in working with pupils with a range of different abilities and needs - SEND, LAC, Pupil Premium, EAL, G &T - and will have excellent communication skills enabling liaison with a variety of external agencies.
We have a strong partnership with other local schools through our membership of the South East Essex Academy Trust and are wholly committed to training and developing staff, as well as other excellent opportunities for professional development.
