Wishes to appoint a
Midday Assistant
Salary: Band A Point 1 - 6
(£3,172.70 - £3,409.52 actual salary per annum)
6 hours 15 minutes per week
Monday - Friday 12:15pm - 1:30pm
37 weeks of the year - term time only
Start Date: 3rd July 2024
We are looking to recruit a Midday Assistant to join our busy team. Midday Assistants create a very positive, happy and secure environment in our playgrounds, dining hall and the school building at lunchtimes.
Your primary role will be to maintain the safety, welfare, and good conduct of pupils during the lunchtime break. Duties include supervising and interacting with the children on the playground or in the dining hall, encourage healthy eating and good table manners, and escorting pupils between the two areas, basic first aid and keeping accurate record keeping.
The work can be demanding but can also be very rewarding. Experience is desirable, although training will be provided.
