Do you enjoy working with children? Are you a 'people person' who likes being part of a supportive team? If so, we would love to meet you. We are looking for someone who is kind and enthusiastic to join our wonderful team of midday staff. Your job would involve working with our Play Leader to support children in organised activities on the playground, helping to make sure that all of our children have a positive lunchtime experience. You may also be needed to supervise children in the dinner hall while eating their lunch.
Previous experience of working with children would be an advantage, but not essential as training can be given.
This is a term time only position, to start as soon as possible. The hours are between 12 - 1.15pm.
The successful applicant will be required to work well as part of the midday and kitchen team.
Successful applicants must be:
· trustworthy
· reliable
· flexible in their approach to daily tasks
· able to work on their own initiative
· enthusiastic and hardworking
· clear in their understanding of positive behaviour management.
