Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant

Job Description

The Governors of St. Francis Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a classroom assistant to support the pupil progress of children.

This is an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to St Francis. The successful candidate will:

be an experienced LSA or classroom assistant or have relevant experience working with children
have a good level of Numeracy and Literacy (GCSE pass or equivalent)
be committed to making an impact on our children's education.
have an understanding or awareness of SEND needs
have the ability to liaise closely with class teachers to deliver the National Curriculum and specific intervention programmes.
have experience of working with children in a Primary School level and can evidence this at interview
be able to support the strong Catholic ethos which is embedded across the school
show a commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare

This is a public facing role and the successful candidate must speak fluent English
