Role: Midday Assistant

Hours: 6.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Salary: £3,204.27 per annum (FTE £22,737)

We are excited to be hiring aMidday Assistantto work in a brand new, state of the art £34 million school. This is a genuinely unique opportunity to take on a key role at the first 'all through' school in Essex, judged Outstanding by Ofsted in January.

The Beaulieu Park School opened the doors to 60 Reception children in September 2018. In September 2019, another cohort were welcomed into the Primary School, together with 180 Year 7 students. The school is growing each year with a new cohort of entry. We were pleased again this year that we were oversubscribed with families nominating us as their first choice school. We now have 1400 students in years R, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9,10 and 11. Our school will grow one year at a time until it is full in 2024. We are already planning our 6th form provision.

We are looking to appoint a Midday Assistant to work with our whole school team who will be based in our Secondary phase. You will work 6.25 hours per week, 12:45 - 14:00 Monday to Friday.

Start date: ASAP

Information about the School

The Beaulieu Park School is Essex’s first ‘All Through’ school and the primary phase opens for reception students in September 2018 with the secondary phase opening in September 2019. The Beaulieu Park School will welcome its first cohort of 60 reception aged children in two classes. In September 2019, 180 Year 7 students will be admitted. Year on year the school will grow, providing 420 places for local children between four and eleven years old by 2024 and 900 places for local children between 11 and 16 years old by 2023.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
