Braiswick Primary School are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant who ideally has experience of supporting children with a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD and/or communication difficulties.
Hours are 25 per week (ideally 9.00am to 3.00pm with an hour for lunch). However, the working day can be relatively flexible for the right candidate.
You will be highly motivated and invested in moving a child's learning forward through your support.
We are a two-form entry primary school with happy, self-motivated children, supportive parents and a creative and dynamic staff team. We ensure that staff and parents work together to support the development of all children both academically as well as socially and emotionally.
Have a solid understanding of collaborative working with teachers, external professionals as well as the school SENco.
You will need:
To be a team player as well as being able to use your own initiative
To be patient, tolerant and understanding
To have GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

Braiswick Primary is the third school of the Learning Pathways Academy Trust which also includes Lyons Hall Primary in Braintree and White Hall Academy in Clacton-On-Sea.
