Salary - Thurrock Band A, Point 1 - Point 6

£17,320.03 - £18,538.18 actual salary per annum

31 hours and 15 minutes per week

Monday - Friday 8.35am - 3.20pm (30-minute unpaid break)

Term time only - 37 weeks per year

A new opportunity has arisen, for a Learning Support Assistant to join our successful team!Stanford-le-Hope Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, committed and flexible Learning Support Assistant to support student learning.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate patience and show a commitment to supporting learners to improve educational outcomes. This role would be suited to someone personable, empathetic and able to communicate effectively, whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner, under pressure. Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

The successful candidate will be: 

  • Passionate, creative, and motivated with a positive outlook, able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Committed to supporting pupils' learning, behaviour, emotional needs, and overall welfare.
  • Dedicated to raising outcomes for all students through innovation and continuous improvement.
  • A strong communicator with excellent organisational and written skills, able to multi-task effectively.
  • An enthusiastic team player with good classroom management and a commitment to safeguarding.
  • Have GCSE's in Maths and English to Grade 4 and above (or equivalent)
